Welcome to Exploro, an application designed to help you plan and organize your trips. By using Exploro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the application. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Exploro.
2. Use of the Application
Exploro is offered to you for your personal and non-commercial use. You may use the application only for lawful purposes. Any unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from Exploro.
3. Account Information
To use certain features of Exploro, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration process, and to maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify Exploro of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security.4. Use of Google Maps API
Exploro uses the Google Maps API to provide location and map-related services. By using Exploro, you agree to be bound by the Google Maps API Terms of Service. Exploro does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by the Google Maps API, and is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided by the Google Maps API.
5. Use of Illustrations
Exploro uses illustrations from https://storyset.com. By using these illustrations in Exploro, we acknowledge and give credit to https://storyset.com. Additionally, you are required to comply with the terms of use of these illustrations as stated on the website. By using Exploro, you agree to comply with these terms.
6. Use of Photos
Exploro uses photos from Unsplash, a free stock photo website (https://unsplash.com). By using these photos in Exploro, we acknowledge and give credit to the photographers who created them. Additionally, you are required to comply with the terms of use of Unsplash as stated on their website. By using Exploro, you agree to comply with these terms and to give proper attribution to the photographers of the photos used in the app.
7. Limitation of Liability
Exploro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Exploro shall not be responsible for any damages arising from the use of the application. Exploro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, good-will, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use Exploro, (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on Exploro, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other users or third parties, or (iii) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Exploro reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of Exploro following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions will mean you accept those changes.
9. Termination
Exploro may, in its sole discretion, at any time terminate or suspend all or a portion of Exploro, or your use of all or a portion of Exploro, with or without notice and with or without cause.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of Exploro shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Exploro shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties will make good faith efforts to resolve the dispute through negotiation or mediation. If such efforts are unsuccessful, the dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dublin, Ireland. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
12. General Terms
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Exploro with respect to the use of the App, superseding all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to such subject matter. Exploro may modify these Terms from time to time and will post the most current version on its website. Your continued use of Exploro following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue your use of Exploro.
13. Terms for Creators
If you submit or publish any content on Exploro in the form of self-guided tours, audio guides, itineraries or similar media ("Creator Content"), the following additional terms apply.
13.1 Royalties and Payment
Exploro may monetize Creator Content by selling it to users. Creators currently receive 90% of the net revenue generated from their content, where “net revenue” means the sale price minus any taxes, transaction fees, refunds, chargebacks, and necessary platform costs directly related to delivering or processing the content. Payments are made monthly to the payout method of your choice, and there is no minimum payout threshold. All payments are subject to applicable taxes and compliance requirements.
13.2 Content Ownership and License
By submitting content to Exploro, you retain full ownership of your work while granting Exploro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license to host, use, distribute, promote, sell, and sublicense it to end users through the Exploro platform. Because the license is non-exclusive, you remain free to use your content in any way you choose, including publishing, selling, or licensing it elsewhere. You may also update, modify, or adjust the pricing of your Creator Content at any time, provided that such updates follow Exploro’s standard review and approval process, similar to the original publication workflow. This ensures that updated content maintains quality and compliance standards before being made available to users.
13.3 Content Standards and Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, original, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and sell the Creator Content.
13.4 Content Removal and Termination
Exploro reserves the right to remove Creator Content or suspend your creator access at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to content violations, quality concerns, or legal issues.
13.5 Content Withdrawal
Once your Creator Content has been reviewed and published on Exploro, its removal cannot be requested unilaterally. Exploro invests significant technical, editorial, and creative resources into preparing, reviewing, curating, and promoting Creator Content. Additionally, published content may have active users, ongoing engagement, or prior purchases that depend on its continued availability. If you wish to request the removal of published content, you agree to discuss the request with Exploro so that both parties can determine a fair and justified process. Exploro may approve removal where appropriate, including (but not limited to) situations where the content is no longer providing value to travelers or where other valid reasons arise. If the creator relationship is terminated, previously purchased content will remain accessible to users who bought it, and Exploro may continue to make the content available or sell it at its discretion, in order to protect existing users’ access and the integrity of the platform experience.
13.6 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Exploro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal costs arising out of your Creator Content or your violation of these terms.
13.7 Updates to Terms for Creators
Exploro may update these Creator terms from time to time. Your continued use of the platform to submit or sell Creator Content constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
